BRAINBOX SPEAKING AT SOUTH-WEST ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION CONFERENCES
Tracy will be wearing her study skills and motivational hats in January and February when she speaks to Access students at two regional conferences to be held at the University of the West of England (UWE) and Bath Spa University. Her session will aim to enthuse adult learners returning to higher education and support them in developing study skills appropriate to university study. Tracy worked extensively with Access students while she was a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen, and is looking forward to working with this student group again.
BRAINBOX COACHING 2012 - IN ASSOCIATION WITH SWEATY BETTY!
The luxe sportswear chain Sweaty Betty likes to be able to personally recommend external service providers. The Bristol branch has very kindly been showcasing Brainbox business cards for its clients and Tracy will be carrying out a sample coaching session with Sweaty Betty staff very soon, as well as a self-protection session for its running club members in January.
WORK CONTINUING WITH ETHICAL INVESTMENT BANK
Tracy has been working with an ethical investment bank in Bristol on coaching skills and this now looks set to continue, along with opportunities for some future developments in staff training.

COACHING WORKSHOP UPDATE

NEW! - Tracy Johnson invited to speak in Japan
Tracy has been invited by the University of Tokushima to give a lecture this summer on the use of Personal Development Planning (PDP) in UK higher education. This is a great opportunity to showcase some of the work Tracy has been doing in the last couple of years in developing a coaching-led approach to PDP.
NEW! - Brainbox starting work with the University of Bristol's Wellbeing Programme
As part of the University's new Wellbeing strategy, Tracy will be giving a series of talks to students at Bristol's halls of residence, supporting them in managing study & exam skills and how to deal with associated stress. Starts March 2011.
NEW! - Brainbox now working with Bristol University's High Performance Squad
In collaboration with the Centre for Exercise & Health, Dr Tracy Johnson is now working with the elite student athletes at the University of Bristol and coaching them as part of their overall training and development programme. Tracy will be sharing techniques for goal setting and personal motivation with these students so that they can transfer the skills developed through their sports training into all areas of their lives. This is an exciting opportunity for Tracy to combine her coaching skills with her own interest in sport and fitness, and promises to be a learning experience for all involved. The High Performance Squad support team includes NLP practitioners Matt Edwards & Ben Grassby, and award-winning sports coach Gordon Trevett. SEPTEMBER 2010 - Brainbox expanding into local schools
Tracy Johnson was invited into a Bath school to speak to its sixth-formers about preparing for study at university, including presentation skills and planning for future career development. This was a lively morning involving over 100 lower-sixth formers, helping them to prepare for a smooth transition into university life.
